ALREADY BOOK YOUR YOGA RETREAT THIS YEAR?

It is with lots of enthusiasm and joy that I present to you the new location which will host our week yoga retreats.

Booking and reservations are open for the 2018 Yoga retreats in Ibiza.

First week starting on the 30th of April.

Our Yoga Retreat is set in 30.000 m2 of pine forest, fruit filled terraces, several lawns, a variety of flower beds and an olive lined driveway.

Amazing breathtaking views including sea, sunsets and distant hills complete a scene between blue skies and red earth. The seasons change, the fruits and flowers appear and disappear but there is always something and often plenty. Almonds and oranges in profusion, fig and pomegranate trees are all scattered around here among the smells and colours of so many flowers. Olive, carob and palm trees add to a feeling of deep Mediterranean country.

The original farm house, newer main house and outbuildings are integrated by porches and paths with a pool , pond and well in the traditional architecture sympathetic to the landscape.

For the lessons we have a custom made wooden yoga deck among the pine trees.

WHAT IS SOUND? WHAT DOES IT TO US? WHAT CAN IT DO FOR US?

Psychoacoustics is the study of the perception of sound. This includes how we listen, our psychological responses, and the physiological impact of music and sound on the human nervous system.

Thanks to the groundbreaking findings of French doctor Alfred Tomatis, we have come to understand the extraordinary power of the ear. According to Tomatis the ear´s first function in utero is to govern the growth of the rest of the physical organism. After birth sound is to the nervous system what food is to our physical bodies: food provides nourishment at the cellular level of the organism, and sound feeds us the electrical impulses that charge the neocortex.

The theories and practices of Tomatis will be discussed at the SOUND HEALING & THERAPEUTIC MUSIC TRAINING IN IBIZA.

ARE YOU SONIC RESPONSIBLE?

We all have the same equipment: two ears. The conscious use of Sound comes down to understanding how sound affect us. Then we can apply positive psychoacoustic principles to our situations and environments. This is Sonic Responsibility.

Sound can be used as tool to distress, improve mental productivity, accelerate learning, minimize pain, and facilitate healing. It is time to take back the space around our ears, to learn to govern our sonic environments, or create new and better ones.

Begin by establishing a new sound awareness. Assert your sonic rights. Take appropriate precautions and protect your ears. Become proactive in auditory health and restoration. Learn to create sound space conducive to the needs of your nervous system.

With the information presented in the SOUND HEALING & THERAPEUTIC MUSIC TRAINING, you will be able to take charge responsibly, according to your individual needs.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS A SOUND BATH?

A sound bath experience has many benefits. In our culture we are becoming more and more aware of holistic approaches for relaxation and healing, to combat the everyday stresses of modern life—a sound bath can offer the perfect solution. It gives you the opportunity to go inward on your own terms.

Sound baths are meant to help facilitate a shift in your brainwave state. Through frequency and entrainment with sound it’s possible, and very easy, to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), with the majority of people able to reach theta (meditative state) and even delta (where internal healing can occur). This experience is helpful for anyone who wants to give themselves a moment of relaxation or gain the benefits from meditation, but has not yet learned how to access on their own.

For beginners, meditation requires a verbally guided experience, i.e- go to a quiet place and find a stream or repeat a mantra… The sound bath experience is about letting the sound take you to a deeper place making it easier to arrive in a relaxed state without complicating how to get there. Sound is the vessel and it allows you to explore and identify what a meditative state is and how it feels. Because of this, a sound bath is not only beneficial for beginners of meditation, a seasoned meditator will find as many benefits.

The sounds are created by a wide range of instruments with different frequencies which can include pulse drumming, Biosonic tuning forks, gongs, shruti box, Himalayan singing bowl, mbiru, various percussion, chimes, overtone singing, indian, latin and aborigines flutes, Coto Japanese , hand Arp,etc…

You can experience a Sound Bath Session by participating in one of our Ibiza Yoga Retreats or if you want to have a deeper knowledge and became a professional Sound bath Therapist participate in our Sound Healing and Therapeutic Music training in Ibiza from 18th to 23rd April 2018.
